These terms cover the Corfacio website: the school directory, the resources, accounts, and the contact form. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please leave the site.
What Corfacio is
Corfacio helps adults find English schools and resources for working life. We list schools and publish guides. The schools teach. A booking, a class and a price are between you and the school.
A listing describes a school from details the school publishes or from details the school gives us. It is the school’s page on the directory. We are not a party to a lesson you book with them, and we do not promise a result from a class or a guide.
Accounts
- You need an account to add or edit a school, or to claim one. Sign in with your email and password, or with Google. Keep the password to yourself.
- One account holds one school. The details you publish should be accurate and kept up to date.
- The contact email on a listing is for us to reach the school. It is not shown on the public page.
- We can refuse an account, or close one, when the details are misleading or the account is being misused.
Claims
If your school is already listed, you can ask to claim it. We read the request and approve it when we are satisfied you run that school. Approval lets that account edit the listing and shows a verified mark. We can refuse a claim, and we can remove the mark if the account should no longer speak for the school.
Listings and resources
You may read the directory and the resources for your own use. The Speak with confidence guide is for the person who requested it. Please do not copy a school’s page, a guide, or the design of the site and present it as your own.
School names belong to the schools. Photographs are used with a credit where the licence asks for one. A street photograph is of the street, and the caption says so.
Comments and messages
Comments are for a useful note about a page. A new comment is held until it is read. We remove comments that are unlawful, abusive, or pretending to be a review score. The contact form is for questions to Corfacio. Do not use it to send advertising or anything you do not have the right to send.
Acceptable use
- Do not break the site, probe it, or put a strain on it.
- Do not scrape the directory in order to republish it.
- Do not post someone else’s personal information.
- Do not pretend to represent a school you do not run.
The site may change
We can add, edit or remove a listing, a resource or a feature. We can update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Continuing to use the site after an update means the new terms apply.
Responsibility
We take care to keep the directory useful and the pages available. We are not liable for a decision you make with a school, for a price or timetable on a listing, or for a loss that the law does not let a site like this cover. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales.
